An Adult Family Home (AFH) is a residential home licensed to care for 6 - 8 residents providing room, board, laundry, necessary supervision and help with activities of daily living personal, personal care and social services.

 

There are over 5,000 Adult Family Homes in Washington state offering a caregiver to resident ratio of 1:6, 

exceeding the industry average of 1:15+ in larger facilities.

At a minimum, Adkinson Estates Adult Family Home offers a 1:6 ratio while

providing 24/7/365 awake caregiving support from a credentialed caregiver.
